NSMoms Present at Dalhousie University's Global Mental Health Conference

NSMoms Nancy, Cyndi, and Laura were pleased to be part of yesterday’s conference, ‘Mental Health Responses in a Changing World 2026: Innovative Responses to Humanitarian Emergencies’.

Our presentation was well received. We had good conversations and made some connections with people who attended the hybrid conference in-person. It was also inspiring to meet like-minded people who believe that the advocacy of caregivers with lived experience is an important part of making change in the mental healthcare system.

NSMoms are grateful to the Dalhousie Department of Psychiatry for this opportunity. We learned a lot from the presentations of the other speakers that we can apply to our work as we move forward.
